Best Epcot Restaurants: 18 Top Places to Eat

Of all the Walt Disney Parks, Epcot has the best restaurants.  Not only does Epcot have great places to eat but it also has a diverse selection you can’t find anywhere else! So much food, so little time!

How in the world can you make dining decisions, and know the best Epcot restaurants, with so many options to choose from?

Epcot has some amazing places to eat such as:

  • Garden Grill and Askerhus for character dining
  • La Cantina de San Angel for amazing Mexican food
  • Le Cellier Steakhouse for upscale dining
  • Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria for incredible pizza

Best Epcot Restaurants

I have compiled a list of my favorite dining options in EPCOT. Of course, this is a completely subjective list. You may agree with me or completely disagree!

One additional thing to note is that restaurant menu options in the Disney theme parks are constantly changing, so do check menus before you go. This is especially true in EPCOT during the Food and Wine Festival (my favorite time to eat around the world).

1. Sunshine Seasons

Located in The Land Pavilion, it has a wonderful appeal for many reasons. This is on my list because it is a quick service restaurant that is not located in the World Showcase, making it a convenient eating option. The menu is very diverse, with lots of eating space, and it’s all indoors to give you some relief from the heat.

2. Garden Grill

This table service restaurant is also located in The Land Pavilion. If you are looking for fresh food with a bit of a healthy flair check out the great options! One of my favorite features of this restaurant is Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast. This restaurant is family style “all you care to eat.”

3. La Cantina De San Angel

Found in the Mexico pavilion, this wonderful restaurant offers great Mexican favorites like tacos and empanadas What really shines is the seating that overlooks the World Showcase Lagoon! I got a churro sundae on my last visit with Jen and we LOVED it.

4. Regal Eagle Smokehouse

This American Adventure restaurant is the place for barbecue and other American fare! This is a quick service restaurant that has seating both inside and outside. My favorite part of this place is that it is run by Sam Eagle of the Muppets!

5. Rose and Crown Dining Room

This quaint and cozy pub is found in the United Kingdom Pavilion. One of my favorite parts of this restaurant is you can sit outside and watch the fireworks while you eat! Simply grab a later reservation time (after 7:30). Forgot to get a reservation? Rose and Crown often has walk up space earlier in the evening – stop in and ask! This is also a fantastic place if anyone in your group is a vegetarian or vegan as they have a “secret” vegan menu.

6. Katsura Grill

Katsura Grill is a quick service restaurant with wonderful, picturesque seating that, even without the food, makes for a wonderful experience.  Several Japanese food options are here. Another perk is that it often isn’t too busy and is near the koi pond!

7. Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Over in England, this is a wonderful place to get some fish and chips. I made England my last stop on my tour of EPCOT and enjoyed the fish and chips with a beer on a table outside. It was a great way end to my day!

8. Boulangerie Patisserie Les Halles

Located in the France pavilion. This restaurant boasts freshly baked bread that they use on the wonderful sandwiches and, as you can imagine, pastries galore! This is a great place to satisfy your sweet tooth and grab a dessert.

9. Les Chefs de France

Chefs de France is a beautiful table service restaurant in France. One of the most popular menu items is the baked goat cheese salad and the baked macaroni! I also recommend the cheese board as an appetizer. The serving sizes here are huge and the atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely consider this place!

10. Le Cellier Steakhouse

Arguably the very best Epcot restaurant, the Le Cellier Steakhouse is located in the Canada Pavilion and offers a wonderful menu with some of the finest steaks around!

Beautiful ambiance, vintage wines and their famous cheddar cheese soup to go with your pretzel bread make this high-end eatery a top of the line dining experience.

Be aware that reservations are booked months in advance, so you will definitely want to plan ahead to eat here. Find out how to make reservations here.

11.  Biergarten Restaurant

The German Pavilion brings us this delightful, buffet style lunch and dinner with a rotating selection of rotisserie chicken, pork schnitzel, bratwurst and salads. German bands entertain on most nights and they offer a large dance floor open to all who would like to polka.

One note: between the seating in a communal wooden table, the buffet, and the dancing area, this wouldn’t be our first choice for a romantic dinner for two, but more for an adventurous group dinner experience.

12.  Teppan Edo

Japan Pavilion offers guests a wonderful experience of chefs cooking your food right at your table. Japanese cuisine of meat, vegetable entrees paired with udon noodles and steamed rice is featured along with sushi rolls and Japanese beer and wine.

This is a wonderful restaurant if you are bringing the children as they will be fully entertained.

13.  Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Obviously, from the name, this restaurant specializes in pizza! Some say this is the best pizza in all of Walt Disney World. You can order a thin crust pizza cooked in 800 degree wood burning ovens, but if you are so-so about pizza, they have other wonderful Italian dishes that are to die for.

The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous as well.  This is a great place if you are hungry but don’t want to make a lot of decisions. I recommend Via Napoli over Tutto Italia Ristorante as Tutto Italia is more expensive and (in my opinion) not worth the price.

14. San Angel Inn Restaurante

In Mexico you can dine in perpetual twilight modeled after a 17th-century hacienda at the base of Mayan ruins.  Ever flowing chips and salsa start your meal with wonderful entertainment provided throughout your dining experience.

Though this restaurant ranks high, it is primarily because of atmosphere.  Most people comment that the food is alright but the ambiance would make them return. I recommend stopping in and viewing the restaurant even if you aren’t going to eat there.

If you are looking for better tasting Mexican food I recommend you head across the path to La Hacienda de San Angel. Snag an evening reservation and watch the fireworks in an air-conditioned room through huge windows.

15.  Monsieur Paul

France Pavilion invites you to enjoy French cuisine with delights like Roasted Duck Breast, Seared Scallops and Red Snapper.  French architecture with modern bright touches are displayed as you dine to provide your palate and eyes a wonderful experience at this signature restaurant.

This is your place for a romantic dinner for two!  White linen service is elegant in every way!

16.  Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

The Norway Pavilion hosts this wonderful restaurant. It is a bit different in a few aspects from the others on our list. This restaurant is a buffet and it has Disney Princesses that you can meet while dining. This is a top choice by Disney guests who want to meet the princesses! In fact, given the option between Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus most people favor Akershus.

The atmosphere is beautiful with royal crests and dark wood beams and the food is based on Norwegian fare. One of the best places to eat for families.

17.  Coral Reef Restaurant

This is one of the only table service restaurants not in the World Showcase. The restaurant has been built with 8 foot high windows looking into a huge saltwater aquarium.

Fish of every kind as well as a periodic scuba diver can be seen while enjoying a wide variety of food, featuring seafood.  This is a fun restaurant to go to with children. I took my three kids there and we really enjoyed it.

18. Spice Road Table

Located in the Morocco pavilion, this restaurant is one of the best. At Spice Road Table you will savor Mediterranean small plates—like spicy shrimp, fried calamari, naan spreads and the Spice Road Table sampler. One of the best parts of this restaurant is the view. If you sit outside you will have a view of the World Showcase Lagoon. One additional perk of Spice Road Table is the option to buy a fireworks dining package!

Now that you know all of the best Epcot restaurants, both table service and quick service, we hope you’ll confidently make the right choice as to where to visit on your next Disney vacation!

Next up? The best EPCOT snacks, of course!
