How BIG is Disney World?

Disney World is big…really big! But have you ever thought about just how big it really is?

Disney World covers 43 square miles (more than 27,000 acres), with 4 theme parks, 30 hotels/resorts, 2 water parks, 4 golf courses, and more!

If you were to compare it to a city, it is the size of San Francisco and Miami. But how does it compare to other parks? Let's find out!

Disneyland is about 500 acres, so you could fit 54 Disneylands in one Disney World. In comparison, Disneyland is a “Small World” after all. (Sorry, we couldn’t resist!)

DISNEY WORLD VS. DISNEYLAND

Disney World is bigger than Universal Studios. Universal Studios is about 550 acres compared to the 27,000 for Disney World.

DISNEY WORLD VS.  UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Disney World hosts some 50 million guests in a typical year. More than 5 million hot dogs and 7 million hamburgers are sold annually!
