Disney VIP Tour Price
Your price tag will start at $450 to $900 per hour (with a minimum of 7 hours and maximum of 10 hours) but the price is for your entire party, not per person. The price fluctuation is for when you go.
By the way, this does not include your theme park admission which is required for the the tour. You can also expect to tip.
How Many People Can Go On My Tour?
Disney World VIP tour will accommodate up to 10 guests which includes infants. Disney is firm on the number of people for your group.
Disney VIP Tour Includes:
1. Attractions, Attractions, Attractions!
The biggest reason you will want to do the VIP tour is for the unlimited, quick entry into the attractions. Your guide will take you to any attraction you want or you can let the guide pick the route because they know secrets on how to maximize your day. Do you want to go on a ride twice…three times…??? No problem.
On some attractions, you will walk right on but for the newer rides you may have to wait a few minutes in the lightning lanes. If you are going on the newest rides at one of the parks that is super busy, they may only allow you to ride it twice. Along with the attractions you can take advantage of VIP viewing of Festival of Fantasy Parade, Enchantment, and Harmonious.
2. Unlimited Park Hopping!
You can move between any of the four Disney parks (Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) for any attraction you want. Keep in mind the time it takes to leave a park, travel to the next park, enter the new park is all taking away from your day. You are also welcome to stay in one park for the entire day.
3. Private Transportation!
You are picked up at your hotel in your own private vehicle that has any car seats you need for your little ones and dropped off in the backstage employee areas, bypassing all the congested areas in order to whisk you into the park quickly.
4. Disney World Guide!
Finally, it is a super fun and entertaining experience to have a knowledgeable Disney guide taking you around the parks. They point out fun facts and show you things no one else gets to see and know about. It is also relaxing in the sense that they are in control and you don’t need to worry about where you are headed and all the other stressful things you find at Disney World.
The following is not included in the price of the VIP tour:
1. Meals and Snacks
When you are on your VIP tour and you stop for food or snacks they will be on your dime. In addition, you are still on the clock when you stop.
2. Park Tickets
As we mentioned earlier, you will need to purchase a park ticket in advance to your VIP tour.
3. No Rest
So the best part of the VIP Tour can also take a toll in a few ways. The good is you are racing through the parks, hopping on attractions and seeing tons of cool stuff.
The bad part is the immense amount of stimulus that you intake in a day! You are walking a ton of miles, you are riding coasters and taking in all the visual effects that can mess with your body.
Add to that, you are probably not going to get a lot of nutrition. Add everything up and you will probably be exhausted and maybe even a bit nauseous after it’s over.
4. Some Restrictions
You will not be able to do anything you want with your VIP guide. For example, you can’t just walk through Cinderella’s castle. There may be some restrictions on some of the newer more crowded attractions as we mentioned earlier. That being said if it’s within reason, your guide will do everything possible to make your time as enjoyable as they can.
So, is it worth it?
There was a time when we felt this was way over the top as an extravagant option when visiting Disney World but as the extra costs keep rising every year, this may become more of a consideration. If you have a larger group the per person price could end up being relatively manageable.
With the VIP tour you will not need to purchase Lightning Lane Multi-Pass or Lightning Lane Single Pass. The prices of these pass can definitely add up, and you are only guaranteed three attractions for the multi pass.
You are also beholden to the time frame you get. Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the closest you will get to a VIP tour, but you are only able to ride each attraction once and you do not get the additional experiences a tour guide can offer.
Of course, only you can decide if the price tag is worth it for you and your family!
