Looking for transportation to and from the Orlando airport? You need to check out Cast And Crew Transportation!
On our past Disney World trip we found a hidden gem shuttle service to and from the Orlando airport and our Disney Resort Hotel: Cast and Crew Transportation. After doing some research we decided to book this shuttle service for our Disney trip. We paid for this with our own money – and loved this service enough we decided we needed to tell you about it!
If you do a google search for “transportation to and from the Orlando airport to Walt Disney World,” odds are Cast and Crew won’t show up in your search unless you really look for it. Don’t let this stop you from giving them a serious look for your transportation needs.
We had a phenomenal experience using Cast and Crew Transportation! Highlights for us included personal and courteous service, great communication, no worry and stress over transportation, multiple types of available car seats, and best of all, it was all at an affordable price.
For us, a major highlight was the fact that the shuttle went straight to our Disney hotel and straight to the airport when we returned. When you use other transportation options, you sometimes can be in the vehicle up to an hour more as others in your transportation bus or van get let out first at various hotels.
Here are some specifics about Cast and Crew Transportation:
Cast and Crew Vehicle Options
There are 3 types of vehicles you can choose from: Sedan, SUV and Magic Bus.
Sedan: is for two people maximum. This is a top of the line, luxury shuttle in a Mercedes S Class 580.
SUV: is a great option for a family. It can hold up to 6 riders plus luggage, however, they do say if all six have large suitcases, strollers etc… it might not work. Give Cast and Crew Transportation a call to confirm an SUV will work for your specific situation.
Magic Bus: The bus can accommodate up to 14 passengers. These are oversized vans which work perfectly for larger families, groups, or like in our case, a few families combined. We can speak from personal experience using the Magic Bus: we were able to comfortably transport 12 in our family with all our luggage and carry ons to and from the Polynesian Resort. One special thing you get with the Magic Bus is a top screen playing a montage of Disney songs from different movies. The kids were glued to it and it helped make the time go by fast.
Does Cast and Crew Transportation only go to Disney World? In addition to Disney World they have service to Universal Resorts and Hotels, Sea World, Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal as well as any Orlando area Resorts.
What about car seats, boosters and strollers? All taken care of! There is a small charge for adding car seats and boosters but Cast and Crew will work with you to have everything ready for your little ones when you arrive. They also have strollers that can be rented for your stay which makes it very convenient.
What if we need to stop at a grocery store on our way? No problem, for an additional cost of $20 they will give you a grocery stop on the way to your destination.
What about after hours flights? They will accommodate after hours flights with a surcharge.
As with a lot of people going to Walt Disney World, we were disappointed to learn that Disney discontinued their shuttle service to and from the airport. We loved the whole experience of leaving the airport for the Disney bus as part of the excitement of going to Disney World. It also was so great that it was free!
Cast and Crew Transportation truly is the closest we could find to replicating that experience with our kids/grandkids. We were so happy to discover Cast and Crew Transportation and we think you will be too! If you are looking for other transportation options, we have a few alternate recommendations here.
