Eeyore is the pessimistic stuffed old grey donkey belonging to Christopher Robin in the classic Winnie the Pooh books written by author A.A Milne. Eeyore is the gloomy friend of his chubby bear pal Winnie the Pooh, Kanga the Kangaroo, wise Owl, little Piglet, and the one and only Tigger.
These beloved characters live in the hundred acre wood. Eeyore has a pessimistic nature and can often come across as somewhat depressed. He has his moments of sadness and a general quiet way about him.
While Eeyore is a pessimistic depressed donkey, he is one of the most popular characters. This is in part due to his sad comments that somehow have much wisdom in them. Eeyore’s quotes can be both comforting and sad, as well as both wise and witty. Some of the most memorable Eeyore quotes are about his tail and the little things of life.
