runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Dates (2023 & 2024)

In the beginning…there was one race, a marathon, at Disney World. The year was 1994 when 5,588 runners lined up at the starting line to run a full marathon throughout the 3 Disney parks (there were only 3 parks at the time).

This year in 2023, it’s 29th year, that one marathon has turned into 26 individual races with over 160,000 participants!

runDisney races have become ultra-popular events that occur four times a year in the winter, spring and fall. Combining live entertainment, Disney Characters, a personalized bib and wonderful commemorative Disney medals, each race weekend brings runners of every skill level from young children to more seasoned marathoners.

Runners get to experience a competitive race or just a fun run in the diverse race distances that Disney provides.
