Where to Meet Princess Elena of Avalor at Disney World

Is Princess Elena at Disney World?

If you are heading to Walt Disney World soon and wondering if Princess Elena is there, we have great news for you…SHE IS… and we want to tell you all about it in this post.

Our family loves to watch the Disney Channel and two of our favorite Disney Junior princesses are Sofia The First (Princess Sofia) and Elena of Avalor (Princess Elena of Avalor).

Elena is a relatively new Princess but has gotten very popular, very fast and is quickly becoming a favorite Disney Character of many people, especially preschool aged children.

She is the first Latina Princess in the long string of Disney Princesses and we love how she shares Latin cultures and traditions which helps children, in particular, to have a greater understanding and appreciation of others.

Where to Find Princess Elena at Disney World

Currently, there are two places to find Princess Elena.  One is for meet and greet and the other is for viewing.

1. Princess Fairytale Hall

In order to get up close with Princess Elena, you need to head over to the Magic Kingdom Park. When you go into the Magic Kingdom, make your way to Fantasyland and just behind the Cinderella Castle there is a Princess meet and greet area called Princess Fairytale Hall.

If this is your first time back to visit Disney World in a while, this location replaced what used to be, Snow White’s Scary Adventure attraction.

There are typically 4 Princesses located in the Fairytale Hall to give a royal welcome to their adoring fans, Tiana, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Elena. Normally when those four are on site, Tiana and Rapunzel are paired together and Cinderella and Elena are paired together.

There will be signs directing you to the Princess you want to see along with the queue and posted wait time. We highly recommend checking with your My Disney Experience app before you go, to not only confirm she is there but you can also keep up with the wait times.

Because Princess Elena along with Cinderella is very popular, you will have the best luck of smaller lines early morning (especially if you are staying on site with early entry) or later in the day so please keep that in mind if someone in your family makes this a “Must See” attraction at Disney World.

Also, you are able to use Genie + if you so choose which will guarantee you a front of the line Character Meet with Elena. We want to emphasize that this is the only place in all of Walt Disney World Resort where you are able to meet Princess Elena at this time.

2. Royal Princess Processional

Several times each day there is a Royal Princess Processional that  goes down Main Street USA and during the parade Princess Elena makes an appearance along with many of the other Disney Princess Royalty.

Once again, you should refer to the My Disney Experience app for times of the parade.  Unfortunately, you will not be able to meet Elena during this parade but you will see her and she is good at waving at her fans.

Final Princess Elena information

Unfortunately, at this time, Elena of Avalor is not in any Character Dining experiences.  Along with this, Elena doesn’t have any attractions or rides so we cannot emphasize enough how important it is to take advantage of these two ways of seeing Disney’s first Latina Princess.

In 2016 Elena made her debut in Magic Kingdom.  Cinderella and Prince Charming welcomed her and she sang her original song, “My Time” live in front of the Cinderella Castle as a Girl Scout troop all held her signature Scepter of Light.

Since that day, she has been with Cinderella at the Princess Fairytale hall for the meet and greets.
