We all know the classic story of Cinderella. Most everyone’s favorite part is when the Fairy Godmother shows up and magically transforms Cinderella to make her ready for the ball.
With a simple “bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!” Cinderella’s rags turn into a gown, the mice into horses, and the dog into a footman!
Lucky for us, Disney has given little girls the opportunity to become Disney princesses by the help of some special fairy godmothers at Walt Disney World! Boys can become knights, too!
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers experiences via appointment for your little girl to turn into a princess for her day in the Disney Parks.
Where is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
There are three Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations in Walt Disney World in Orlando. The first and most popular one is located in in Disney’s Magic Kingdom inside Cinderella’s Castle.
This Magic Kingdom location is across from Cinderella’s Royal Table. You must have park reservations to the Magic Kingdom Disney park in order to get to your boutique appointment.
The second Walt Disney World boutique location is in Disney Springs at the Marketplace. You do not need reservations to get into Disney Springs, but you will need an appointment to get the princess makeover.
The Disney Springs location, while not in the Cinderella castle, has magic on its own. It has several changing rooms with a large mirror where your fairy godmother will magically appear to greet you!
Cinderella’s carriage is also in this location which makes for a really fun photo opportunity.
A third Walt Disney World boutique location is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian resort (a Walt Disney World Resort) in the Ivy Trellis salon. This is another location where you do not need a park reservation in order to get a boutique appointment!
The boutique is in Fantasyland at Walt Disney Land in California. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques are also on the following Disney Cruise Line Ships: Disney Wish, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Magic.
The boutique packages are different from the packages in Walt Disney World.
How much is a princess makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Disney princess makeover prices begin at $74.95 plus tax. This is a fully immersive experience that has the price tag to go with it.
There are ten magical makeover Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique packages available at the boutique. Your child will be with a Fairy Godmother-in-training (a Disney Cast member who is “practicing” to be a fairy godmother).
The Fairy Godmother will use a little Disney magic and pixie dust to transform your daughter into a beautiful princess! The packages start at $74.95 and go up from there.
The Crown Package
Cost: $74.95
Includes: Hairstying, shimmering makeup and face gem, princess sash and cinch sack, nail polish.
The Carriage Package
Cost: $99.95
Includes: Hairstyling, shimmering makeup and face gem, princess sash and cinch sack, nail polish, and a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique t-shirt.
The Courtyard Package
Cost: $149.95
Includes: Hairstyling, shimmering makeup and face gem, princess sash and cinch sack, nail polish, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique t-shirt and a tutu.
The Castle Package
Cost:$199.95
Includes: Hairstyling, shimmering makeup and face gem, nail polish, Disney princess gown of child’s choice, additional coordinating accessories (not shoes).
Dress options may include the following Disney characters: Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Tinker Bell, Elsa, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Merida, Tiana, Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna. Other costume choices may be available.

Can You Bring Your Own Princess Dress to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?
Yes, you absolutely can bring your own princess dress from home to your child’s appointment! All you need to do is let the Fairy Godmother-in-training know that you have brought your own dress and it will get hung up in your little princess’s dressing room.
This is a fantastic option to save money by purchasing an affordable dress from a local store or amazon. This also guarantees that your child will be able to wear the gown of her favorite princess!
What Size Princess Dresses are Available?
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is for kids ages 3-12. Dress sizes that are available are extra small (size 4-6) to large (size 10-12). If your child needs a size that is not available you are welcome to purchase a dress and bring it with you to your appointment.
How Long Will a Princess Makeover Take?
A princess makeover at Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique will take approximately 30-60 minutes depending upon what kind of transformative makeover experience you choose.
We recommend trying to get a reservation early in the day so that your child will be able to enjoy the makeover all day long.
If you have other children in your group, consider finding something else to do during your child’s boutique appointment. This is a great time to treat those kids to a snack or hop on an attraction with low wait times.

Can Adults Get a Princess Makeover?
Adults cannot get a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in any of their locations.
Some of The Walt Disney Resorts offer character couture makeovers for adults and kids. These start at $60 and are character inspired makeup and hair services and are a great option for teens!
Check the Disney salon to see if the character couture packages are available. These have been available at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club resorts.
If you are looking for your own general salon experience, check out the Ship Shape Salon at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (next to Disney’s Beach Club Resort). Salon options include hair cuts, hair styling, manicures, nail designs, hair extensions, pedicures, and more.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Tips
Here are some helpful tips and tricks to make the most of your magical makeover!
1. Make Reservations Early
Reservations are required, and advanced reservations are highly recommended. You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance.
Don’t forget, you must have a valid theme park admission with Magic Kingdom park reservations in order to go to the Magic Kingdom location. If you have not made a boutique reservation, your best bet is to try to try the Disney Springs location to see if they have any last minute openings.
2. Bring Your Own Costume
We mentioned this earlier, but it is worth repeating. Bring your own costume to the boutique. The boutique charges approximately $50 for their princess dresses, and you can easily find one online for much cheaper. You are also guaranteed to have a comfortable one that you child will wear all day at the Disney Parks.

Don’t forget to consider shoes! If your child insists on wearing matching princess shoes, throw a good pair of walking shoes into your park bag so she can be comfortable. She can switch into the princess shoes when meeting her favorite princesses or attending your dining reservation.
3. Bring a Shower Cap
Bring a shower cap and have your child bathe with it on at the end of the day. This will preserve her royal makeover hairstyle for another day! You may consider a sleep cap or satin scarf to wrap her hair in.
Having your child get a Disney World Princess makeover is a magical experience that she will remember! This would be a great way celebrate a birthday if you happen to be in Walt Disney World on vacation on your child’s birthday. This is truly a special occasion and a memorable experience you will enjoy on your Disney Vacation.
