To give you a bit of background in case it’s been a minute since you saw this film, (it was released in 1994 after all) let’s start from the beginning. The Lion King was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff.
It tells the story of Simba – a young lion cub what is destined to be the next king of the Pride Land.
Tragically, his father is killed by his Uncle Scar. After Mufasa’s death, Simba flees after his uncle convinces him he was responsible for his father’s death.
After growing up alongside his friends Timon and Pumbaa, he eventually returns back to the Pride Land to challenge his Uncle Scar to take back his role as King.
Throw in a love story with his longtime friend Nala, a wise monkey name Rafiki and three wild and not so nice hyenas, and you’ve got yourself a must see movie (if you haven’t seen it already!).
And now, let’s get on to the real reason why you’re here. The quotes!
